The client had a sophisticated appetite for a home suitable to his taste and lifestyle. He is an art connoisseur and lover of Art Deco Architecture, and he selected the aesthetics of that stylish period to flavor his kitchen.

Attuned to the Art Deco mystique, is the ornamental element, the focal point above the stove. The design is faithful to the era and the proportions. The unique bar relief metalwork, cast by an artist to Elina’s design, was finished by hand with sharp finishing tools, to further refine the work.  The sculpture is framed a black, pencil-thin liner, a Deco design jumping out of a vertical canvas of thin roman travertine. Further completing the framework, are symmetrical cupboards and the Mackintosh-style windows on each side.
