In an open plan with a dining area on the one side and a living room on the other, two peninsulas angling outwards from the back wall, shape the ultimate ‘kitchen triangle’.

Baking and decorating cakes for the Depressed Cake Shop women’s charity is the favored function of this kitchen. All-white cabinetry and countertops pardon the indulgence in vivid color accents. A bright fuchsia baker’s hutch is paired with mint colored oval glass tile. It stores fun dinnerware and table linens at the bottom and easy-grab cake pans and bakeware at the top. Fun touches include a bespoke reclaimed wood pantry with leaf handles and an appliance garage with a retractable industrial espresso machine. On the other side of the peninsula, the dining table looks into the kitchen, the living room and the windowed walls to the lush garden.
